RUDI: Places in Transition Conference
Thursday, 14 January 2010The IPM are supporting the forthcoming RUDI Re-making Places conference which takes place in London on 21st January.
The organisers RUDI have kindly offered us the opportunity to invite members to attend at a discounted rate of £100 compared with the standard rate of £240.
The conference provides an annual forum for all those involved in shaping urban places to hear latest thinking and explore new techniques for re-making urban areas while taking the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals.
Leading figures and forward thinkers from the worlds of sustainable development, urban design, property development, urban governance and city leadership, and will be giving a range of presentations on the day.
Speakers will be looking at:
-Ways of delivering effective projects and programmes of improvement
-The individual, society & nature in city design
-'Place based' leadership
-A new framework for citizen involvement in green and social infrastructure
-Lessons from Germany about re-constructing lost urban spaces
