Our partners at the National Association of British Market Authorities are hosting a series of regional meetings to share best practice, explore the support Nabma offers to those engaged in market management, and to consider the future of markets in the context of the changing high street.

Each meeting starts with a case study by the host location and then hears from Nabma's Chief Executive and other officials on the work of the Association and issues impacting on markets. This is followed by a workshop-style session led by Institute Co-Chair Simon Quin on the changing high street and what it means for markets. This session looks at the latest trends, data and research findings as well as how government is responding.

The Institute and Nabma are working together on policy around markets and on professionalising market management.

The first event was extremely well attended in Preston in April and forthcoming sessions, which are free but you must register, are in

Huddersfield - Thursday 16th May

Nottingham - Monday 3rd June

Salisbury - Tuesday 18th June
