IPM Research Seminar, 24th May 3-5pm

In a new era of efficiency and forward-planning (don’t worry, it won’t last!) we have booked the date and venue for next term’s IPM research seminar.

Following the tried and tested format, presenters have just 10 minutes to share their current research projects, ideas, findings or impact with fellow members. Dr. Steve Millington will be chairing, with bells and whistles (literally). You can read a summary of our last seminar here:

Thanks to Gareth Roberts and Chloe Steadman for writing the summary.

In between all the talking we will be eating nibbles (yes there will be cake) and drinking tea and coffee. As usual, we will continue the networking and debate in The Salutation afterwards.

We have already confirmed a number speakers on the 24th May:

Jess Edwards - Cities of Literature: Creative and collaborative placemaking

Martin Kratz - The Manchester Poetry Library

Jo Cox-Brown - Managing cities at night - Creating a Partnership Night Time Economy Strategy.

Places are limited, so book your place on our eventbrite page. If you would like to present please contact Tom (T.Hindmarch@mmu.ac.uk)

The seminar will be in Room 3.11 (Manchester Met Business School) on 24th May 3-5pm.

Please note this event is for members of the Institute of Place Management and the Landscape Institute only.
