IPM and National Association of British Markets Association roundtable

Open to IPM Members and non members

The National Association of British Markets Association and Institute of Place Management are coming together for an online round table to discuss the High Street Strategy and the role of markets.

Markets are not a peripheral feature of the high street-they are recognised within IPM’s research as one of the 25 key factors influencing vitality and viability. As a core driver of footfall, dwell time, local distinctiveness and entrepreneurship, markets play a unique role in shaping economic, social and cultural activity in places.

This session will bring together practitioners and policymakers to examine how markets can be better embedded within high street strategies, drawing on evidence, experience and shared challenges to strengthen their contribution to thriving places.
