We brought together local authority, BID and creative practitioners to share their experience of public art projects and outline the benefits in terms of the ‘look’ and attractiveness of their places to residents and visitors, the economic impact and importance to their communities. They also talked about the challenges they’ve tackled.
BID bodies collaborate with government on sector review
A jointly-authored paper was presented to DLUHC by the three membership bodies, which outlines some of those key practical and regulation issues which BID leaders will be familiar with from their day-to-day experience. This includes aspects like ballots, billing, and relationships with local authorities.
