Kingston First are looking to recruit a Place Manager

The BID foundation members, Kingston First, are one most established Business Improvement Districts in England. They formed in 2005 and following a successful ballot in 2020 they are now in their fourth term continuing their work to make Kingston the best it can be for both businesses and visitors.

As the BID continues to develop, they have an exciting opportunity to join the team on a full-time basis as a Place Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a range of projects, services and partnership initiatives which improve the town centre’s streets and spaces for our members and the town’s visitors. The postholder will manage the Ancient Market Place, as the civic heart of the town centre. The role combines project delivery, service management and relationship development to evolve the quality of the experience people have in Kingston. Additionally, the postholder will have responsibility for building and maintaining partnerships with Kingston First’s members, Kingston Council officers, stakeholders and relevant industry networks to progress our public realm related organisational goals.
