Consuming Atmospheres book launch event

The Consuming Atmospheres book - edited by Dr Chloe Steadman and Dr Jack Coffin - brings together an interdisciplinary collection of chapters all about atmosphere and consumption. The 12 chapters in the collection explore the atmospheres of a range of consumption contexts, including pop-up retailing, music festivals, tourist sites, towns, sports stadia, amusement arcades, urban squats, food and drink.

This event launches the Consuming Atmospheres book and the audience will hear from the book editors and some of the chapter authors about their research in this area. It will be especially useful for academics and practitioners interested in atmosphere, sensory marketing, consumer experience, place experience, place design, and qualitative methods.

You can find out more information about the book.

It is running hybrid on Wednesday 13th December 15.00-17.00 at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School (room 4.03, 4th floor South Atrium) and also streaming online.
